All services are available in English and Spanish (Todos los servicios
son disponible en español e inglés). Translation services
are available for other languages. All services are provided in a manner
that respects the confidentiality of each person.
The following services are available:
Health Care
- Staff provide comprehensive
and confidential HIV specialty care including:
- Primary care
- HIV care
- Nutrition
- Neurodevelopmental Evaluations
Health Education
- Information on HIV disease, HIV treatments,
health, nutrition, pregnancy, child development, parenting, substance
abuse, and stress management is provided in English and Spanish. Brochures,
books, and videotapes are available. The program provides HIV education
programs for health care professionals, social service agencies, drug
treatment programs, schools, childcare facilities, and community groups.
Case Management
- Comprehensive case management services
are provided by licensed clinical social workers. Staff
are bilingual and have extensive experience in providing
care to women, children, and adolescents. The social workers
coordinate care and treatment plans with multidisciplinary
service providers. The social workers provide referrals
for community resources, emergency assistance, housing,
transportation, respite care, dental care, mental health,
chemical dependency, and legal services.

Clinical Research Trials
- Patients can participate in research studies
to determine the best treatments for HIV and to prevent
HIV transmission during pregnancy. The research trials,
sponsored by the National Institutes for Health and pharmaceutical
companies, provide the opportunity to try the newest HIV
medications available. If you have any research questions,
