Children and families face many challenges. Sometimes it helps to have someone to talk to whether you are a person living with HIV or have a family member living with HIV.

The following services are confidential and are available in English and Spanish at UCSD Mother, Child, & Adolescent Program: (Todos los servicios son disponible en español e inglés.)
  • Individual Counseling/Family Counseling
  • Educational Advocacy & Counseling
  • Crisis Intervention
  • Case Management
  • Support Groups
  • When Families choose, staff can provide assistance with disclosure to family members or schools .
  • Art Therapy
  • To talk to a peer advocate (Click on advocacy).
  • When Families choose, staff can provide assistance with disclosure to family members or schools.
  • Social activities, including Holiday parties, for families (See announcements or contact your case manager/peer advocate).
