People face many challenges. Sometimes it helps to have someone to talk to whether you are a person living with HIV or have a family member living with HIV.




The following services are confidential and are available in English and Spanish at the UCSD Mother, Child, & Adolescent Program:
  • Individual counseling
  • Pregnancy counseling
  • Crisis intervention
  • Case Management
  • Assistance with disclosure to family members
  • Referral to a peer advocate (See Advocacy)
  • When families choose, staff can provide assistance with disclosure to family members or schools.
  • Support groups
  • Social activities (See announcements or contact your case manager or peer advocate)
