People face many challenges.
Sometimes it helps to have someone to talk to whether you are a person
living with HIV or have a family member living with HIV.
The following services are confidential and are available in English and
Spanish at the UCSD Mother, Child, & Adolescent Program:
- Individual counseling
- Pregnancy counseling
- Crisis intervention
- Case Management
- Assistance with disclosure to family members
- Referral to a peer advocate (See Advocacy)
- When families choose, staff can provide assistance with disclosure
to family members or schools.
- Support groups
- Social activities (See announcements or contact your case manager
or peer advocate)
