Outreach and Prevention

The goal of the MCAP Outreach Program is to engage all members of our community into HIV treatment, prevention, and support services to improve retention in care, viral suppression, and improved quality of life for the whole person.

Certified PrEP-AP enrollment site
Free condoms for everyone, provided through the San Diego Condom Distribution Partner Program
Free at-home HIV test kits provided to the community in collaboration with VIDA
Ensuring wide availability of testing in community-based and health care settings
Providing access to treatment and supportive services that promote retention in care for all persons living with HIV
Preventing new infections through a combination of evidence-based interactions
Engaging communities in developing strategies to improve health outcomes related to HIV.
